About me.
I observe a great deal and say just the right amount: that’s how I design.
I’m Deborah De Santis, a UX/UI and Digital Product Designer with experience designing interfaces and software products for complex business contexts.
I currently work in a software house, where I design ERP, CRM and HR systems. I translate business requirements and user needs into clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, design-system components and responsive interfaces, collaborating closely with developers.
My interest in digital design began during my university studies in Arts, Music and Entertainment in Bologna, where I developed a strong interest in visual communication and cognitive psychology. My thesis explored the role of color in social media and how visual choices can influence users’ emotions and behavior.
To strengthen my design skills, I completed a professional Master’s program in UX/UI Design and AI Agents at Start2Impact University. There, I worked on user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, design systems, HTML/CSS and usability testing through practical projects.
Before moving into product design, I gained two years of experience as a Graphic and Web Designer. This background shaped my visual sensitivity, attention to detail and understanding of digital identity, responsive websites and interface design.
I also took part in an Erasmus+ experience in Malta, working on web and digital projects for international clients. This experience strengthened my independence, adaptability and confidence in using English in a professional context.
